Jesus went through a lot of condemnation before being crucified. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. Peter denied Jesus 3 times when HE was arrested and being questioned. Jesus was arrested by the Jewish soldiers of the Sanhedrin. The Roman leader wanted to let Jesus go but the Jews wanted HIM crucified. Christians are to rejoice in persecution or suffer patiently. Life is not fair. Need to forgive others as Christ forgave us. There is power in forgiveness. Our heart condemns us but GOD is greater than our hearts. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, Matthew 5:10-12, 1 Peter 2:19-23, 1 John 3:20
